Killer Bee Playing Cards by Ellusionist
A portion of each Killer Bee Deck sold is given to the IUCN organization. To date, sales of the Killer/Super Bee decks have funded over $30,000 to support honey bees.
We wanted to capture the darker bodies of these cold-face killers in our deck. Creating a harsh black back with toxic-waste yellow honeycomb spilt on the back.
The black faces display custom pips and hold a sinister simplicity. Like something you'd expect to see on a discarded barrel of methylamine. Expertly printed on Cartamundi B9 stock, with their true linen finish.
Killer Bees are the result of an unsanctioned lab experiment when toxic-waste spilled into a delicate hive of Honey Bees.
Like all superhero stories, the Killers were introduced to Brazil by mad scientists to help re-populate their diminishing Bee population.
But no-one could contain them...
In 1957, 26 swarms escaped quarantine and declared war on the western hemisphere.
Danger lurking in the skies, these villains will stalk their victims for up to 1/2 a mile..
Beautifully simple design with the quality you expect from the US Playing Card company. Box has a really nice matte feel to it.
Very nice deck i love the bee themed style of the deck. Also the thin stock handles very well, the only negative i would have for this deck would be that the pips and the style of the deck make it hard for people who aren't used to it get confused with which card is which. other than that great deck
Arrived.... saw the pack.... In Love.... this just made my day!!!!!!! Was having a low point... The details in the cards are very specific and beautiful.... Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bought these as a birthday present for my brother who is 52 this year. The cards themselves are really cool, and it's so generous of the company to donate money to the IUCN. It has inspired me to do likewise.
Its a simple deck witth great feel, thin stock, great for cardists the only thing i dislike is the slight misprint of black. Its awesome to know that every deck bought has some money donated to save bees
